Idea for a Novel

Something was happening, and the character didn't like it. A human by nature, he was burdened with voices in his head and hormones in his bloodstream. He considered ignoring the event, but found that doing so caused negative consequences for his well-being, and his well-being was what he valued most. However, having set himself into motion and pursued a goal, it was not long before he encountered an obstacle which threatened to thwart his plans. Oddly, he had plans. (At this point, the author once again attempted to introduce the reader to the character's inner life, which he had been trying to do all along, thus inducing nausea and ill will in the reader.) Also, other things happened which led to consequences. During a specific crisis or two, various emotions took hold of him. However, once the crisis was averted, he felt he'd won. The reader, having been made to emote or even think, continued with his life as before before eventually dying.
